Since Amendment 64 passed in 2012 allowing recreational marijuana, the state of Colorado has experienced a number of highly controversial and widely-monitored issues. As the first state that voted to legalize recreational marijuana, other states monitor Colorado’s policy. Some of the widespread issues since legalization include the rise of a grey market, usage of collected tax dollars, normalization and social consumption.
We have led the pack for the business of cannabis in Colorado, ensuring that the industry does its part by proactively working with government to solve industry issues. In addition to legislative lobbying, we lead tours for political, business and community leaders through our client’s dispensaries and grow facilities to educate them on issues impacting the marijuana industry.
We have successfully lobbied the state legislature on policy that diminished the grey market. Locally, we collaborate with governments to ensure the industry isn’t unfairly impacted by government.
